Here’s the thing:  Cinder is a pop surrealist whose work is easily worth five figures, but due to some bizarre miracle he’s working with me for significantly less.  Not only is he cooking up this extraordinary piece for Why It Matters, but he’s also working with me on the performance flavor of  WIM,   Major Manatee’s Travelling Story Side Show.  We’re lucky to have the equally brilliant film composer Tomas Hradcky working on that project, too, but that’s probably a conversation for another day.

Anyway, here’s a rough draft of the piece that Cinder is working on for Why It Matters.  The final will be oil on canvas, and I can tell you from personal experience that  it’s going to be beautiful.   We’re going to offer this as a numbered, signed, limited edition print among other things (like maybe a t-shirt, poster, etc.), so stay tuned.  It’s just silly that we’ve lucked into this opportunity.
