One From My Vacation Home

running bibsIt sounds like the search is narrowing for a suspect in the Boston bombing, and that’s great but there’s so much healing to do.  I read today a quote from one spectator who said she’d never attend another public event like that again, which is precisely what terror is all about.

It’s crossed my mind, too.  I’ve lined up for a lot of races, and the idea of a lunatic with a pressure cooker and some nails weighs on me.  Can I suck up the fear and pin on another number?  Well, that’s what this one is all about:  An Open Letter To A Broken Spirit.
