Congratulations to those of you who picked a winner. The rest of you? Well, maybe today feels like the first day of the end of the world. It isn’t, mind you, but I get it, so here are some “end of the world” songs:

“End of the World,” Skeeter Davis.

“End of the World,” Talk Show.

“End of the World Is Coming,” David Hilder.

“(I’ll Love You) Till the End of the World,”  Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

“Waiting For the End of the World,” Elvis Costello.

“Until the End of the World,” U2.

“Sound of the Apocalypse,” Black Bonzo.

“Apocalypse Dreams,” Tame Impala.

So there you have it — 8 songs with which to enjoy your apocalyptic nightmare, or your happy future. It’s up to you, really.

Skeeter Davis. Who in the fuck remembers her besides me. The only thing that can top that song is her hair do.
