Why It Matters 
I wonder if Nirvana was influenced by this for “Nevermind”? Probably not, but the feel of the underwater photograph reminded me of it.

The story goes that when Hipgnosis did the pot shoot all band members jumped in one at a time to acquire the right picture. One of them didn’t tell anyone that he couldn’t swim but jumped anyway. I’m taking it that this is him (Hipgnosis: Walk Away Rene, page 51m 1978)
