We lost keyboard legend George Duke to leukemia on August 5, 2013, age 67.
“Legend” is not hyperbole here. The guy was a beautiful singer and a wonderful player, and he always looked like he was having so much fun on stage. Duke played with the best of the best, including Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Stanley Clarke, Cannonball Adderley, and Billy Cobham.
