Why It Matters

This album cover has everything: cigarettes, an accordion, stockings, a checked table cloth, and a boob. All that and it’s “a study in HIGH FIDELITY sound.” What’s not to love?

I’d love to tell you that I’m some kind of hipster fan of Jo Basile and accordion music from the sixties, but I’m not. For me it’s all about that sweet, sweet cover. However, I will admit to mumbling faux French over Basile’s lovely tunes:
