Here we have a 1982 Rhino release shaped like a Christmas tree, but I guess you probably already figured that out.
Christmas Rock is technically a 7″ single, though it plays at 33 1/3 and includes two cuts on each side. The Ravers’ “Punk Rock Christmas” still show up now and then:
Side A finishes with Johnny Cue’s “Rockabilly Christmas,” then we’re over to the B-side for The Dragons’ “Silent Night” and the –oh, let’s call it a novelty cut — “Santa’s Gone Surfin’” by the Malibooz:
The sticker on the sleeve says that this one was $5.98 new, which is just about what it’s worth 30 years later. Copies aren’t hard to find online, but it’s always more fun to find one in the stacks of your local record store. Happy hunting.

Cool thing is you can also hang it from your rear-view mirror for that sweet Christmasy smell all year round
