Deep Cuts: Songs For Jack

Okay, so my brush with Jack Nicholson was no more than directions to the nearest bathroom. It’s still Jack, come on! None of the songs in my library are about that Jack, but I have plenty of Jack songs.     If I had to pick my least favorite Who and AC/DC songs, “Happy Jack” and “The Jack” would be my picks. I’ve never liked those songs. “Hit the Road Jack” is a great one, and I also like Mellencamp’s little ditty, so I don’t think it’s the name Jack. Weird, but my skin almost crawls when I hear “Happy Jack”.
