I’m pretty sure that Seether were the only South African band at Aftershock.

Whether that buys them any bragging rights I’m not sure, but I thought it was pretty cool. Overall, Aftershock’s bill was pretty diverse — lots of people of color, folks from other countries, etc. — but in previous years they’ve had many more women on stage. Here’s hoping that the women who rock are back in numbers next year.
