Why It Matters

Who cares about the soundtrack to a long forgotten Bob Hope movie?

Probably the same people who care about the movie, which must be a very small group. I’d never even heard of it until I ran across the 8 On the Lam soundtrack in my local record store, at which time you’d think I found a butcher cover. And why was I so excited? That album cover, of course–another one for my Jack Davis collection. Woohoo!

This is a strange one, price-wise. It’s a dollar record at best, but now and then it crops up for more due to the album cover. Let’s just call it a buck. Happy hunting.
