I appreciate all of you so much. That you take some time out of your busy days to read my babble amazes me. Honestly this is still so new to me that I really don’t know how to show my gratitude.
The best I can do is send you love letters when something special happens, and that’s what Laura B. is getting jammed down her throat. She was the poor sucker who made comment #1,000 on Why It Matters, and now she must pay the price. Laura is a librarian, so the United States Postal Service is bringing her a triptych of “lonely reader” doodles.
So what’s next? I don’t know. When something special happens I’ll commemorate it in whatever little way I can. Thank you all again for letting me borrow your eyeballs — I truly appreciate it.
