This is a cool limited version of the soundtrack to Stop Making Sense. Musically there’s no difference, but this version came with the booklet that you see on the left.
It’s a cool package, and like a lot of things in my stacks I bought it with the notion of selling it thirty years later for thousands of dollars. On a good day I might get thirty bucks, but I’m not sweating it. Give it another thirty years and it will be worth maybe $35. Happy hunting.

A great show by a great band. …and a great lesson by Mr. Stafford.
I can’t tell you how much vinyl I bought thinking, “Someday, this’ll be worth millions!” When I was a DJ, I spent too much money for picture discs of artists that no one remembers anymore. The worst was $75 for a “rare” Disconet remix that is now readily available on youtube.
But I enjoyed the music. That’s really all that matters.

Diggy, I don’t know if I’m brave enough to feature all of the picture discs that I bought for their future value. Suffice to say that — gulp — there’s a Bon Jovi pic disc in my stacks.

I’ve never been a collector. I don’t have the heart, it seems. I do love me some Talking Heads though!

Blessed are those who don’t hoard, for they will never have an office full of lunchboxes.
