The Neighborhood Kick Off US Tour In Sacramento May 20

the-neighborhood-i-love-youThe Neighbourhood is one of those bands that reminds me that pop music doesn’t have to suck.  Debut album I Love You dropped last month, following an EP released last August.  Both include the track “Sweater Weather,” which is infectious as they come.

That tempo change at the end is what grabs me, but the whole track is solid.  Good beat, Jesse Rutherford’s vocal is tight — it’s just a good cut.

If you’re in Sacramento, California on May 20 you’ll want to catch these guys at Harlow’s, and if not here are some other dates:

  1. That song is catchy…think it is the only one I’ve heard of theirs, as it is played quite a bit right now. I will have to seek out some more.
