From the Stacks: Jane’s Addiction – That Ain’t Country

Janes that aint country frontI think that this is the first Jane’s bootleg I purchased, most likely from my buddies at Green Hell Records on Hollywood Boulevard.  It’s a double album set comprised of two 1988 era shows, which for me will always be the Jane’s sweet spot.

One particularly cool track on this boot is “Digging Something Up,” which of course is a pre-Ritual “Obvious” (see back cover below).

So what can you expect to pay for That Ain’t Country? Hell, I don’t know.  Jane’s fans will pay what they have to pay to get it in their stacks, and nobody else really cares about it.  My pseudo-expert opinion is that you’ll find it in the $35-$50 price range.  Happy hunting.
