Tim Weisberg never got much love from The Guys In Black Tee Shirts Who Jam because of his superhero team-up with Dan Fogelberg. Come on! That’s just way too much adult contemporary goodness for fans of The Nuge.
But you know what? As debut flute albums go, you can’t do much better than Weisberg’s 1971 self-titled release. Get that image of Ron Burgundy rocking a little baby making music out of your head and give this a fair chance:
Chuck Beeson’s album cover is pretty sweet, too. Just don’t give too much thought to how a hand-headed flautist would voice his instrument.
You’ll find this one in the five dollar range. Happy hunting.
