You probably know Sebastian Junger as the author of The Perfect Storm, and if that’s all he ever accomplished he’d still have a damned impressive resume.
But it isn’t. Junger is a brilliant journalist, war correspondent, and documentary filmmaker. I jumped at the chance to interview him regarding his latest movie, Korengal, which opened recently in New York. It’s the follow up to his Academy Award nominated Restrepo, so expect good things from this one.
To date this is my favorite interview that I’ve done. Give it a read and spread the love. Korengal isn’t a studio movie, so Junger can use all the grassroots support he can get.
