These guys killed it. I’ve been spinning their new album, Once More Around the Sun, heavily since Aftershock. If you like your music heavy and smart, you need some Mastodon in your stacks.

Why It Matters 
Mastodon pretty much rules. Been a fan since a friend played “Leviathan” for me. I didn’t think they anyone was making prog metal like that anymore. Their new album is great, just like the rest of ’em.
