I had to cut my conversation with Belew almost in half for this Diffuser piece, which broke my heart. Aside from what you get here, we talked about his great late ’80s band, The Bears, Talking Heads, Nine Inch Nails, and Porcupine Tree. That dude really gets around as a collaborator.
