Easter: How weird is that?
Most of our Western holidays are strange amalgamations of traditions, but none more so than Easter. What Jesus, a rabbit, and eggs have to do with each other isn’t readily apparent, but give it a little thought and the symbolism becomes evident.
Spring, rebirth, fertility. Nature rises from its winter death each spring, after all.
