Issues brought the metalcore to day two of Aftershock.
That’s not a genre that does much for me, but I love watching the metalcore crowds, who have a genuine enthusiasm for their bands that’s quite heartening. We talk a lot about the things that are killing the music industry, but the real danger is that music ceases to be an essential part of the adolescent emotional landscape. If metalcore catches the millenials in their tortured souls, then I’m all for it. That’s why it matters, after all.
