Life isn’t all music and true tales of liquor, lust, and primer gray Camaros, you know. Now and then I do other stuff, like spending five days in Reno, Nevada for the national air races. It was quite an event, and quite likely the largest collection of mustaches gathered in one place since the invention of the horseless carriage.
I don’t know whether there’s a short story to be found in my days at the races, but if there is one I’ll tease it out eventually. Meanwhile, here are a few of the photos I captured during my week on an aluminum bleacher seat. I have thousands to get through, so if you’re an airplane fan you might want to check the gallery now and then for new additions.

Thanks, Robbo! These were taken with a Nikon D7100 with a 300mm lens. Settings were all over the place based on conditions.
