Deep Cuts: Songs For Getting Away

Sometimes you just have to get away. Exotic vacations are cool, but even a weekend road trip can be enough to recharge your batteries. Just that change of scenery can break you out of your doldrums.

And while road trips are awesome, everybody should take at least one long train trip. Spring for the cabin, ride in style. You won’t regret it.

Anyway, getaway songs:

“Getaway Car,” Audioslave.

“Getaway,” Earth, Wind & Fire.

“Gotta Getaway,” Stiff Little Fingers.

“Getaway,” Jo Jo Gunne.

“Gotta Get Away,” The Black Keys.

“I Gotta Get Away From It All,” Mitty Collier.

“Getaway,” KISS.

“Gotta Get Away,” The Offspring.

There you have it: Eight songs about hittin’ the bricks. What did I miss? I’m listening.
