Deep Cuts: Pie Songs

Some people love pie, others are wrong. There’s not much pie that I would turn down, though honestly I’m not much of a fan of pecan or sweet potato. Anything else, though, just give me a fork and get out of the way.

There’s a joint near my sister’s house that makes a coconut cream pie that should probably be on some kind of National Pie Treasury registry. Even my daughter, a self-professed pie hater, can’t get enough of this place’s coconut cream pie.

Anyway, I must be hungry. Let’s get to the pie songs:

“Jagermeister Pie,” Beck.

“Magic Pie,” Oasis.

“The Man Who Was Eaten By A Pie,” Flipron.

“Piece Of Pie,” Stone Temple Pilots.

“Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie,” Jay and the Techniques.

“Chalk Pie,” Frank Zappa.

“Cherry Pie,” Skip & Flip.

“Country Pie,” The Nice.

There you have it: Eight songs to hit your eye like a big pizza pie. What did I miss? I’m listening.
