Here’s another cool picture disc from the early days of Rhino Records. You won’t get any music here–just an interview and a cool wall hanger–but nobody buys picture discs for the music anyway.
What makes this particular disc extra cool to me is that the interviewer is Rhino co-founder Harold Bronson, who was nice enough to talk to us a while back about some other Rhino stuff. Those original Rhino guys were genuine music fans, which is what made the label (and the store) so special.
There’s not a lot of cash value here–a copy of Afternoon Tea will only set you back about ten bucks–but it’s a great place to start your own Rhino collection. Happy hunting.
